My neighbor called me last night. Her computer was acting up and when she called she didn't buy the repair package. So she told them that she knew someone who did. And the customer service person on the phone said okay. I had device spots available and then they fixed her computer. The problem ( Geek Squad never contacted me nor did they get my permission to use my Geek Squad account). All they asked her for was my name, my email and my phone number. Which is all easy information to obtain online. I'm fighting with them now about adding and fixing devices without my permission. I have to take time out of my day to protect my rights. Really Geek Squad?
