Rude horrible expensive inaccurate service - installation of flat screen large tv


We hired geek squad to mount a flat screeen tv we bought at best buy. First issue-they kept calling us and telling us we needed to pay another $179.00 to have them do the cables. We told them again and again we only want the service we bought-the mounting of the tv on the wall (which we paid 100!!! for.) We did the cables ourselves. We didnt want to pay 179 to have him plug it in the wall. They called us 3 times for this and made us wait on hold, etc. and argue with the guy over this. wtf? Very stressful.
So the appointment finally arrives. I was 10 minutes late since I had to pick up my daughter from school, yet this was the only time window that "sortof" worked, so I selected it and hopped for the best. The guys were about the leave but I arrived home in time. Yay, right?
No, the tech was rude and chastised me twice for being late. Seriously, that is the worst customer service imaginable! He talked down to me in a disparaging way. super rude. He said it twice so I had to tell him to back off and stop harping on it because I was here now and he only waited 10 minutes.

So, they come in and get to work. We agreed it would line up with the bottom of the light switch. I got busy with my kid and had to leave the room. When I came back they were all done and I thanked them and they left. Then I sat down and realized they had lined it up with the TOP of the light switch. It is mounted WAY too high, and not where I asked. I call back right away and tell my story. The lady on the phone ended up putting me on a three way call with the tech, he is so rude to me on the phone that she asks him to hang up and then she appologized to me, saying "I'm really sorry , I didnt know he would talk to you this way." Seriously this experience ruined my day. I did not expect to be treated so rudely in my own home by someone we paid money to install. They still refuse to come out and fix it. All in all, STAY AWAY FROM GEEK SQUAD! That technician's behaviour was incredible unprofessional and rude. They will try to upsale you to products/services you dont need. The technician was so rude I felt threatened by him. I do not recommend geek squad to anyone.
