    called to make an appointment to repair a cracked cell phone screen they made a reservation for 4pm. 4pm comes and we drop the phone off, they CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD $264.98 for the phone to be fixed in 2 hours.     I had an issue with my phone so I took it in to get it repaired knowing that I had a geek squad protection plan. they told me that I had to call a 800 number and go through them. I called and spoke with a representative on the phone that barely spoke english. they told me they would call me back but didnt after I had asked to speak with a manager.   • Bad Service with no care about issues they caused

    At first, I was pleased with the service once I took my computer to the store. They made me feel confident they would take care of everything. Then when it was picked up, my husband was informed there was no power cord with it, when I certainly dropped one off with it. He had to travel 20 miles to go back the next day and get it.     Very unhappy with my service from Geek Squad. I have insurance on my cellphone and when I accidentally broke it I called to start the process of getting a new phone.   • Damaged Mobile Phone

    I am really disappointed with the plan, I was promised when I purchased the plan that I would be given a brand new phone and I will be able to exchange it in any of the BestBuy stores, but it turns out that I get a used phone and I have to wait 10 business days until they exchange for me the damaged phone because I have to do the claim over the phone.     I just wanted to know if I took my laptop and echo smartpen over to geek squad, will they able to help me with my echo smartpen 8GB pen? I submitted a ticket and chatted with a livescribe agent but nothing seems to be working on their part.     Geek Squad charges $10 a month for a service plan that apparently protects against damaged phones. However, once you damage your phone you find out that you have to pay $200. They tell you it is a "hold" on your account until they receive your old damaged phone and you will receive the money back.     No working washer - 3 weeks and counting. Our call for warranted service was ignored. After follow up, Geek Squad finally got random subcontractor out. He said it was unrepairable. Not hearing anything for a week, I called Geeks. No information.     I called and cancelled my $9.99 per month Geek Squad Protection plan (GSP)that I had for my cell phone in June 2014. I have continued to be charged for the months of July and August. Best Buy claims that I never cancelled before and will not reverse the charges but claims that I won't be billed next month. What a pathetic attempt to mess over customers. We have a pioneer receiver that we purchased in July 2013 and it already went out ,no sound at all.     I purchased the Samsung Galaxy SII in January. From Jan to March I had 3 replacements. In March my protection plan was cancelled. Which was fine with me because it was no use of having a plan that did not provide me with a functional phone. Matter of fact the phone still freezes up, the screen goes white or changes color.
